Fabulously Sweet

A Dash of This & A Pinch of That

St.Patrick’s day = booze! At least in these cupcakes it does. This is the most I have every baked with alcohol in one dessert. You have Guinness beer, Irish Whiskey and my favorite, Bailys Irish Cream Liquor. All of these combined creates the flavors of that ‘oh-so-famous’ shot, the Irish Car-Bomb. I personally have never done one, have heard of them, seen them taken and made them back in my bar-tending days. And creating these cupcakes was just as fun if not more, than making the real thing.

I have to give credit to Brown-Eyed Baker for this glamorous cupcake; her blog and constant creations are always inspiring. The Guinness chocolate cake is moist and rustic, filled with its’ whiskey ganache filling that only adds a superb amount of chocolaty goodness in your mouth, topped with a creamy irish cream frosting, makes for one heck of a St. Patricks Day celebration.

I hope you try these out soon! And it doesn’t even have to be St.Patrick’s Day… ; ) Happy Baking! And have a ‘Fabulously Sweet’ Day!
